Healing rarely begins with a perfect plan. It often begins when we admit that something hurts and allow ourselves to be seen without having to explain it away. Grace provides room for that honest beginning.
We may be tempted to measure progress by how quickly we feel better. A gentler measure is whether we can notice what we need today. A quiet walk, a trusted conversation, a prayer, or an hour of rest can be a meaningful first step.
Receiving grace does not erase difficulty. It helps us meet difficulty with patience and seek support when we need it. We can move forward one truthful step at a time, even when the whole path is not visible.
